Shure M3D phono cartridge. This unit came to me in a repairmans vacuum tube carrying case along with various other items. I have tested the cartridge on a Pioneer PL-530 turntable at 3 grams tracking force and anti-skate, and it plays well. You can see from the pics that the stylus is very clean. No crud or corrosion buildup on the cantilever and stylus assembly like many vintage cartridges. Shure M3D phono cartridge. This unit came to me in an old repairman RCA vacuum tube carrying case along with other items in the case. Inspection of the stylus shows it to be exceptionally clean, with no crud, or corrosion on the cantilever or carrier. If it has been used, it has not been for any length of time at all. It has surely benefited from being in its packaging, inside the tube carrying case for who knows how long. I installed it on a Pioneer PL-530 TT and set the tracking and antiskate both to 3 grams, and it played wonderfully. The outputs measured at 360 and 362 ohms on my DMM. The cartridge comes complete with the inner and outer cases, mounting hardware, and all the paperwork, including your mail in warranty registration card! Thanks for looking. Shure vintage M3D phono cartridge. This item came to me in an old repairman RCA vacuum tube carrying case along with various other items. I have not installed it on a turntable to test. It comes with everything pictured, case, outer box, documents, and hardware. I took as good of pictures as I was able. The stylus is exceptionally clean. It does not look like it has been used. There is absolutely no crud build-up corrosion, or wear marks that I have seen on other used styli that I have inspected lately. That said, I am no authority on the M3D or cartridges on general, just a relatively knowledgeable user. The output pins measure right at 360 ohms on each side.
