This is actually a working unit of the acclaimed Sherwood Newcastle, 972 with the Trinnov automatic sound adjustment. This is a spectacular unit when working properly. Every six months I have to reset it so I just started using it as a amplifier and it sounds great. Works perfect that way, so I am really only selling it has an amplifier using the extension input. It's very clean and nice. I also have the remote control which can work through walls FM frequency, and I have the microphone for automatic set up, which will actually tell you the exact placement of all your speakers, including how high they are off the ground. But please note even though this is a great unit, and very fun to play with. I decided to only use it as an amplifier because I got tired of resetting it. It seemed like every six months I had to reset it because something would go haywire. I haven't had that problem when using it as amplification only. This will easily run a 5.2 or six point one system if you have a pre-amplifier or preamp outputs on your receiver. This is pick up only so you can listen to it before you take it.
