Very nice mid-size integrated amplifier. This Sansui A-7 from 1981 features 45w/ch @8 ohms,.05% THD, 5Hz - 60kHz frequency response. Sounds excellent, neutral and clean. Well reviewed. Not too big ang heavy for some sweet analog sound to go retro. Silver face plate is in very good condition and looks great. Top and rear corner had small rust spots that I removed, but still minor imperfections remain. Tested good on tuner, aux and tape inputs, could not testphono stage. Power lamps function well, look cool. Inside was dusted and pots and connections got deoxIT treatment. User manual can be downloaded in pdf for free with a web search. Amp only in this auction, other items not included.

Vintage Sansui A-7 DC Servo Integrated Amplifier. This is the very rare and hard to find black face version. All audio inputs and outputs work including the phono section. The amplifier passes clean audio and sounds great. All controls and switches work. The EQ and filter section sounds very musical with a great sounding variable loudness setting. This is a wonderful compact sounding unit with lots of great features. It even has a microphone input. Several LED lights on the right channels loudness meter are out, please see pictures # 7 and 8. One of the original back feet was broken off so I glued a replacement foot from a Pioneer deck, it works fine. Some minor scratches and dings but nothing bad.
