Item Information Item Description: This Vintage Sansui 2000A Solid State Stereo Tuner Amplifier is listed for parts/repair because the power switch does not stay in a depressed position which made it a little troublesome for testing. Sound was able to come out of all speaker channels but the sound was inconsistent and distorted. It is also missing The Bass and speaker selector knob. Backlights do not work. Up for sale is an vintage Sansui 2000A Solid State Stereo Tuner Amplifier. This receiver has been tested and is in working condition. However there is a substantial amount of hissing noise while played indicating to me that you may need to replace one or more of transistors. Also the lighting is very dim when it’s on so you may want to replace the light bulbs inside. You can find lamp kits very easily available on eBay for it that are very inexpensive. I am not an expert in repair on these by any means but these are the things I have noticed to be made aware of. Cosmetically it is in very good overall condition and does have some surface scratches on the top casing.
