This ROTEL RCD-855 is fully operational and in excellent condition. The sound quality is amazing. There are no significant scratches other than a small scratch on the top of the unit above the cd drawer (see photos for condition). Reason for selling: I purchased this recently and have enjoyed listening to my cd collection so much that I decided to switch to a CD Transport / DAC setup. As such I no longer need this unit. If you want a vintage CD player this is one of the best sounding ones in existence, clear, warm and full! This unit is in outstanding condition and was obviously very well cared for, other than a tiny scratch on the top it is in almost like new condition, the face plate is perfect. I bought it on a whim and havent really used it as much as I thought, and Im moving, so it should go to someone who will enjoy it more. It works perfectly, but there is no remote control.
