This comes with the special 4 prong cord that used to be used to plug into a 4 space wall outlet- WAY BACK IN THE DAY. These 4 prong cords are RARE as well as the phones that operate on the special cord are RARE as well. This phone is in great condition -look at the pics and videos physically on the outside it’s pretty close to looking new. Only minor issue is the spiral telephone cord has a small kink in near the receiver- also see pics. it It’s that nice - see the VIDEO in the pics section - I attempted to test it when I had access to a 4 prong wall outlet- When I plugged it in you can hear a noise like the phone connected almost like a power on button- also when I dialed the rotary numbers - you can hear the noise inside the receiver as it was trying to dial a phone number- I tried to record the audio in the video - not sure how I did - regardless - something definitely worked and power definitely turned on - but it was at a landline outlet that was no longer connected to be able to make calls from the outlet so I CAN NOT SAY FOR SURE that it would dial out if it was a line with capability to make phone calls- my guess would be that it would because the phone seemed to dial and power - but I just can’t say for certain - regardless this is a unique retro blast from the past in great condition and not many around.
