We have owned this wonderful item for many years. It was operational when we bought it, we have never used it, just admired it on the sideboard. Today I plugged it in to check and cannot get it to power up. Ive checked the fuse in the plug but other than that I dont know where to start. It could be something simple, I dont know, so we are selling for Repair or Spares. Comes with 2 x very nice Ampex 456 aluminium 10.5 reels, and 2 x new aluminium NABS. Complete with the original 2-pin power lead, and a brand-new power socket upgrade to 3-pin which needs to be fitted. This is an easy job. The power socket upgrade is recommended so we bought one for you. Also comes complete with the original Tape Drive Control Box on a long lead, 2 x brand new speaker leads, and 4x additional XLR to Phono Adaptors specifically for this unit.
