Quad 34 HiFi Separate 4-Input Pre Amplifier Control Unit Grey Spares or Repairs. In the outside condition, it looks really good. When I connected the unit to play it and checked everything. after a few minutes, it started to smell from inside. After a quick open, I found this is coming from a power transformer. There is no issue with controlling. All fobs are working and give good sound correction . Anyway, it is too far for me to fix it and find what is cause that issue. That is why I am selling it for parts for someone who will know how to deal with problem this unit will give really good sound control . Please check photos No return on this item . Quad 34 mk2, late grey stereo pre amplifier, great sounding British amp. A lovely example in very good condition. The knobs havent lost paintwork as often seems to happen! Theres a very small mark on the volume knob shown in picture, but this unit looks pretty much new from the front. Top has a few marks, as expected for age. One of the feet isnt stock - see pic. 5. This is a really great bit of kit that can also be upgraded significantly if you wish. For anyone who hasnt used one, the tilt control is one of the best things ever invented for audio and is a reason by itself to own one of these. Its only the Quad 34 for sale. I dont have the original IEC lead but happy to include one if you ask. Sounding great with no detectable issues. UK sale only.Will send Special Delivery for insurance cover.
