The DB1 cabinet is made from different thicknesses of high density MDF and further damped by bitumen to control cabinet resonance. A newly designed long throw bass driver was used and ported at the rear. The cone is made from pulp and mica which is then elastic coated and fitted with our ProAc acrylic pole damping phase plug. The midrange and high frequencies of the DB1 are superb and in the ProAc tradition, low in colouration and high in detail. ProAc Response 1SC Speakers Theres little to say about these legendary speakers that hasnt already been said. They have an almost mythical reputation and with good reason too - for they remain unbettered when partnered with tube or class A amplification and are able to produce pure magic with acoustic and spoken word music. Even the ProAc D1 (the model that replaced the 1SC) and ProAc DB1 (the D1s replacement) cannot match the 1SC at their very best. If the 1SC do have a weakness then it is is their need for extraordinarily heavy stands - but sit them on something like Target R2 or R4 speaker stands or Partington Dreadnought or Broadside speaker stands (filled preferably) and they will astonish with their imaging and musicality. Note: these are the revised 1SC model featuring sealed rear panels. Early 1SC speakers have removable rear panels distinguishable by the 12 screws on the back. Pair Proac Response D15 Speakers. Great condition. Second owner. Several years ago I noted 1/4 inch radial slice in one surround - repaired with BSC surround adhesive and has remained fused (see photo). Gorgeous cabinets, just a couple minor dings (one on back corner of plinth). Grilles in excellent condition. Packed in original double boxing with complete original packing material (except cones and plinth screws, in packing envelope). Extraordinary sound!

Working. Very heavy. Lovely Veneer. Although there are sone scratches and dints. Id give these a 7 out of 10. The foam has gone a bit mulchy around the tweeter fascia like they can do. Woofers play well. Very dynamic, punchy and super clear detailed sound. No grilles. No postage... Demo welcome... Possibility I can deliver/meet.

A pair of highly regarded Proac Response D18 Floor standing speakers with Maple finish. Very good condition and in perfect working order. The speakers are bottom ported to simplify positioning; there are currently foam pads attached to the bases, but I also have the original spikes. There are many reviews online including the following ProAc Response D18 review | What Hi-Fi? (whathifi.com) I have found the speakers to be very good allrounders, that work very well with Jazz, Rock and Orchestral. There are no chips in the veneer. There is a slight colour variance where the covers have been in place, the photo of the speaker to the left best demonstrates this. The original covers are also in very good condition. I have the original boxes and packaging so could courier to the UK only. This will be relatively expensive as a result of large size and weight and will be in addition to the buy-now price.
