This Primare PRE30 has been owned by me from new and is in A1 condition with box and remote.It works perfectly in all respects and sounds great.Only selling due to upgrading. For some reason the E in PRIMARE is missing in the picture, it is there on the unit. I will courier the unit to UK mainland only at buyers expense but would prefer local pickup so that the unit can be demonstrated and to avoid the chance of damage in transit.If a buyer opts to buy this unit and the A32 power amp Ive got listed separately Ill include a PRIMARE C32 remote, this is the upgrade remote unit which is fashioned from a billet of extruded black anodised aluminium which was an expensive option for these units. Primare A30.2 Two-Channel Power Amplifier (Black). Not quite sure how old this amplifier is exactly but its probably close to 18years now as I believe they were first available in the early to mid 2000s but not 100%. I bought this 2nd hand in 2016. 120w per channel power amplifier designed as 2 independent blocks, each with separate transformers and power supplies. x2 balanced XLR inputs as well as 2 rca inputs. Good condition with the exception of a couple of small scratches shown in pictures. I had it serviced in 2019 by an experienced engineer. All the main/important electrolytics have been replaced and then 2 months ago the same engineer replaced 16 of the small MELF resistors, 8 in the 1 channel and 8 in the other. These were part of the low voltage power supply and are known to fail with age. Amp is sounding superb now, tempted to say like new but dont hold me to that. I have a Primare box for shipping but its not the original and I will make sure to package properly. Since listing this amp I have realised that I have been missing the IR link switch shown in the pics. This switch has not there since I have had the amp and it does not affect performance, only the IR link function. If this is something that could seal a deal I can have the engineer look to put a new switch in for you before shipping.

PRIMARE PRE30 PRE amplifier (SILVER). Want a quality Preamp allowing tonnes of RCA inputs along with 2 balanced in and a balanced out to amp? Want to bypass an AV amp in order to make the front two channels pure stereo? This preamp has a monitor input where you pass the left and right from AV pre-outs directly into Monitor. The primare preserves that into a power amp allowing front two channels to be pure HI FI. It works incredibly well and its how i have used it. Comes with the spectacularly beautiful £300 remote control!! Its a billet of black and silver machined metal. Its a weapon!! I will include this. What hifi 5* review to which i can only agree. I used this with Dual A30.2 power amps and it is an amazing piece of kit. There is a teeny tiny issue that very very occaisionally the volume can jump a number. I think this is due to lack of use as i more often than not used a fixed volume. Fromt he remote, it simply works as it should. As i have been running up and down recently it had become much more consistant. It does NOT crackle as i believe its stepped attenutator which is why the unit was quite pricey!
