Dear all,Thank you for your watching. I hope to selling a PIONEER SK-900 Runaway which was totally maintenanced by me as shown in the photos. The maintenance has restored it to its original and is in extremely good condition. I have maintenanced 11 units of SK-900 in past 5 years. I performed following maintenance to it. (1) Cassette Deck All the drive-belt was replased to dedicated new one. Pinch roller was replaced to new one. Write and playback head azimuth adjustment Tape speed adjutment Head demagnetize by SONY HE-4 The SK-900s cassette deck has high reliability, but all the using oil has been damaged by past long years. I was totally cleaning up the old oil, and replace it to new oil. As result, Deck is smoothly actioned completery.In case of using thin thickness cassette tape such a 120min, the tape pass is stability in condition. Metal tape is also able to use. 440 Hz 0dB test tape made with NAKAMICHI CR-70 was used to adjust the tape speed and azimuth. (I always use a regularly factory maintained CR-70.) REW/FF gears are weak and fragile, so I reinforced them with resin as a precaution. Tape speed adjustment needs long time, because of complex layout of SK-900 three PCB. After removing 3 PCB, slightly move the Motor speed volume and restore the 3 PCB, at last I can check the oscilloscope. This procedure had been repeated 20 times at least. (;;) Recording is available. However, in the AUTO level mode, the recording level is little low. Please use the MANUAL level mode. (2) Radio AM/FM can be received. In case of FM receiver, left VU level is smaller than Right level. But it is adjustable by manual level control with tape recording. It can avoid tape friction by using recording mode in PAUSE. Receive indicator is functionable. But, FM left indicator is weak at the low FM electric field. Right is cleary in function. (3) LINE input Line input(AUX) is available. I had tested Line input function by using MD player. However, left VU level is smaller than Right level as same sa FM receiving. It is adjustable by manual level control. (4) Volume and Graphic Equalizer Function normally. All the VR are smoothly adjastable. (5) Exterior Although there is aging for 40 years, I think it is acceptable condition. If it was severe, I might repaint the case, but now I consider that it is better for keep the original color. I disassembled speaker-net and cleaning. I cleaned transparent panel by plastic cleaner. And also cleaned silver plating parts by stainless cleaner. As the above, all the maintenance had been performed that I can.SK-900s passive radiator cleates very nice sound, please hear it infront of it.
