Classic 90s CD player with impressive sound quality - it has Pioneers Stable Platter Mechanism which means you place the disc label side down on a rubber platter. This CD transport was used as the basis for a number of Trichord CD players that are still extremely well regarded. The player has a neat display off function as well as a digital output - it makes an excellent CD transport if youve got an external DAC. The only flaw I can find is the display is a little dim. I always switch them off if given the option anyway. It comes with a Pioneer remote control, its not the one it was supplied with as far as I know but it does operate this player.
