This is one of the top of the line Pioneer 6 disc changers. It powers on, recognizes and reads the discs in any of the 6 positions and plays. However, on occasion the player skips, or stutters in playback. Limited internet research leads me to believe that the rubber grommets that provide vibration isolation for the optical laser have hardened with time and should be replaced or modified. When working properly this is a superb unit and has the digital output as well as standard RCA.
