Up for sale is my Parasound HCA-2200II. This amp is highly regarded as one of Parasounds best offerings and this one is in beautiful condition. This amp was eventually replaced by the Halo A21 after its long production run. I have enjoyed this amp for many years but its overall use has been very low. I would estimate that this amp has maybe 150-160 hours on it. My reason for selling is that I have too many amps and receivers in my home and many of them are just not getting used enough to justify keeping. I have cared for this amp very well and its been extremely reliable for me. This amp does emit a very faint hum that you may hear when you flip the power switch on. This is completely normal for this amp as stated by Parasound in the owners manual and this is certainly not audible while music is playing. The power delivery of this amp is effortless and it will have complete control over your speakers. I believe its power rating of 220 watts per channel into 8 ohms is likely conservative. I do not have the original manual but I will include a nice copy thats available from Parasounds website.
