Nikko Beta 20 Pre Amplifier with 5 inputs including MC/MM Phono Two Outputs and Tape monitor/record options makes this a versatile Preamp Preamplifier has solid strengths that I did not expect as these are normally found only in hi end preamps costing 1000+ $range 1 Rare Nobel Volume Pot - solid and sealed. Control is smooth and noise free2. All controls like Balance/Bass/Treble have Detent and mid point can be correctly selected3. Low Noise Dual FET input Phono Equalizer/ Line amplifier with Offset control4. Moving Coil Phone input with Low Noise Bipolar Transistor inputs and sounds nice Replaced switch on Delay NOS Fujitsu Reed relay ( matching the original) and all associated diodes/ zener/ Transistor and Capacitors All inputs checked along with Tape Loops. I checked particularly MC input for low noise amplification Sounds like a real High End Preamplifier all inputs. I would like to keep it just for its Nobel Potentiometer alone but for my current Nakamichi CA 7A along with Jhon Curl Vendetta Research SCP 2B MC preamp International shipping is expensive and please contact me for correct Shipping Costs before buying
