NAD C272 is another of the great line of NAD products that have offered high performance for the dollar. It is conservatively rated at 150w/channel, and was highly rated when introduced. Up for sale is a beautiful NAD C270 stereo power amplifier. This unit is audiophile grade and is a great piece of equipment. The unit was obtained from the original owner who used it sparingly as a component in their home theater system. It is from a smoke free home. Cosmetically I think the unit is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There are a few minor marks on the top as can be seen in the pictures, but the front, back and sides are nearly perfect. I know everyone has different opinions on how cosmetic condition should be labeled, so please look carefully at all pictures and judge the condition for yourself. Suffice to say this is a glorious beast of a power amp. 150 watts continuous (NOT peak) per channel at 4/6/8?, and will do 400 in Bridged mono mode!! This was used to drive my fronts pre-outed in a home theatre set up, when playing music in stereo mode the sound is amazing. Sadly with the current economic crisis I have removed this from my set up and am letting my home theatre receiver power my fronts. Very sad face. This was professionally recapped some six months ago, and has just been fully serviced ready for sale by MJ Stills Pro Audio, Sussex. The interior of the unit is pristine. Both recapping and servicing were a considerable expense. This is NOT simply an old second hand item and that is reflected in the price. There is some visible scuffing on the front and top, but no deep scratches, and is in excellent condition for such a classic piece.
