I DO NOT accept Best-Offers. I will NOT respond. In excellent working condition and still presents well for its age ~ does have some wear on all surfaces (please see photos). I have owned this for 10 plus years. It was part of my main audio setup and I enjoyed it immensely. I am downsizing and dont need multiple inputs anymore so off it goes for someone elses enjoyment. Will be well packed for shipping. For those that arent familiar with the Line Drive Deluxe it is the unit with the Penny & Giles potentiometer (volume control). The balance control is a Noble unit. Internally it also is wired with Wonder Wire & LC/OFC Teflon-insulated wire and Wonder Solder. It has WBT (made in West Germany) 0200 RCA jacks for the CD, 1 set of main outs, and Aux 2 jacks. The other RCA jacks are Tiffany. Keep in mind this is a passive unit (no AC power) so it wont provide the gain/buffering of an active unit. You may want to research this first if you are unsure it will work for your setup. I used it with a number of inputs (portable CD player, DAC, smartphone, tuner, etc.) and had the main output connected to a small T-Amp with the volume control turned all the way up (so the Mod Squad unit controlled the volume level). This worked well for me. Again though, know what you are buying, do your homework, and know its limitations. If it works for you as did for me though, it is a pleasure to use. United States, Puerto Rico ONLY. NO OVERSEAS! I ship within 2 business days of payment (business days are Monday through Friday).Any questions please dont hesitate to contact me through eBays My Messages (no e-mails as I may not get them). NOTE: I do not always have internet access so there may be a delay in responding. Check out my other interesting items up for auction. Thank you for looking – David

MCCORMACK MOD SQUAD LIND DRIVE PASSIVE PRE AMP A 90S VINTAGE AUDIOPHILE CLASSICIf you are looking at this ad then you are probably well aware of the quality and reputation of the audio company McCormack Audio SMC of the USA and their products which was by Steve McCormack. However, for those of you who are new to this brand what we have here is a McCormack Mod Squad Line Drive passive pre amplifier in slate grey. Furthermore, while marked made in the USA and dating back to the 1990s its built to the highest standard using some of the finest materials/components and in its day the Mod Squad Line Drive represented one of the finest value for money passive pre-amplifiers that is the ideal match for both solid state and valve amplifiers alike. Specifications include: Play and Record mode, L/R Balance and Volume controls. Several RCA inputs, Tuner, CD, AUX 1, AUX 2, Video, Tape 1+2 in/out along with 2 main outputs for 2 power amplifiers and a ground lift switch. As expected this amp features a solid built with Nobel poteniometers, isolated point to point wiring and plays with audiophile sound quality. Whether listening to jazz, classical, rock or reggae the music emerges from the speakers with dynamics, depth, width and space between instruments and when playing jazz, classical, rock or reggae it delivers a neutral articulated bass where by notes sound as though plucked and played rather than a blurred flurry. While the treble is extended which gives clarity and detail to percussion, flutes and cymbals. As for the midrange voices, strings and horns are realistic sounding with space and air between them. Moreover, when partnered with good quality components superb sonic results are achieved. As for the cosmetic condition this amplifier has been used and is in excellent condition with minor age and use related signs of handling scuffs to the chassis edge and sides which are visable although nothing serious and as such Id rate it as 9/10 overall. Operationally the amp functions and plays without flaws of any kind and has been a pleasure to listen to. Comes with upgraded aluminium feet. No Box, accessories, cables or paperwork included. This item will be well packed and securely boxed to insure that it arrives to you in as described condition. Free UK postal costs signed and posted within 24 hours or can be collected from London E2. ALL MY TIPTOES of the CHEAPEST and BEST audio improvements anyone can ever make!!! They fit perfectly under McCormack amps and pre-amps and also work with any other audio or video component. I have a lot of SMc/McCormack/Mod Squad gear and regularly speak with Steve McCormack and Pat at SMc. Pat told me these are real and date back to the 70s or 80s. 100% REAL! I love these things, but if you dont believe me, read from the STEREOPHILE review: Memorandum: To: Steve McCormack, Chief Designer, The Mod Squad Dear Steve: I cannot question the general value of Tiptoes in many specific applications. There are a great many areas where I, many other audiophiles, and a number of leading manufacturers have found that Tiptoes can improve any audio system in which the components are subject to. mechanical or acoustic vibration from speaker sound—that is, virtually any audio system. While initially skeptical, I now concede that Tiptoes are a worthwhile improvement in each of the following areas: • Turntables: Tiptoes help isolate virtually every turntable from vibration from the acoustic furniture they are mounted on, and seem to damp the internal vibration in most turntable mechanisms. They extend the bass in such lighter-framed turntables as the Oracle, and can be a Godsend for designs like the Linn Sondek and Pink Triangle, whose inferior suspension techniques require special furniture or extraordinary isolation. • Phono Cartridges: I dont feel the Tiptoes Cartridge Coupler provides as universal an improvement as the Mod Squad literature implies, but it can definitely improve the sound of many cartridges and tonearms. • CD Players: I would agree that putting a CD player on Tiptoes works as well as the Mission Isoplat, or any other acoustic isolation platform Ive encountered. • Speakers: There is no question that Tiptoes or spiked feet improve virtually all loudspeakers. Several manufacturers have recently asked me to use them while reviewing, and they help even with the heaviest and most rigid designs. They are a virtual must for any floor-standing speaker. • Electronics: I get mixed results from Tiptoes with most electronics, but they do seem to help in installations where the electronics are close to the speakers or are placed on furniture that vibrates because of acoustic energy. The benefits in this have to be determined by experimentation, but they can be significant—particularly with tube gear. Tiptoes are also reasonably priced by High End standards. making Tiptoes a cost-effective improvement for virtually every good sound system. I therefore can go no further than my previous recommendations. Intelligent use of standard Tiptoes can audibly improve any high end system.—Anthony H. Here is a set of 6 of the CHEAPEST and BEST audio improvements anyone can ever make!!!6 TIPTOES of the SHORT original size, 1.5 inches in diameter by 0.5 inches in height. Here is a set of 4 of the CHEAPEST and BEST audio improvements anyone can ever make!!!4 TIPTOES of the SHORT original size, 1.5 inches in diameter by 0.5 inches in height.
