I am selling this item FOR PARTS OR REPAIR in AS-IS CONDITION WITH NO RETURNS EXPECTED! It is missing the top and bottom of the remote as well as 1 or possibly 2 screws to hold the battery cover.I am not sure if the one screw pictured is for this remote. The battery compartment looks clean. I put batteries in the remote and pushed the buttons. The red light would come on when each button was pressed; however when removing the batteries the battery connector separated and will need the be glued back into place. It appears that it was previously glued.

This McIntosh CD player looks pretty good for its age with minimal wear. The only significant blemish in on the back of one of the silver trim pieces (see picture), so its not really visible when looking at the machine from the front. Theres also some sort of which substance on the buttons (power, store, cancel, etc), but thatll clean up with a Q-Tip. When we first powered it up, the tray opened and closed perfectly. However, it did not read the CD. To complicate the matter, the tray will now not open at all. This unit is being sold as-is for parts or restoration.
