This is an excellent example of an absolutely pristine condition MAC 6700 in the original HD RADIO VERSION. This is not the later stripped-down version; this is the original version McIntosh released with all the bells and whistles to generate interest in receivers. I used this unit as both a receiver and as a preamp/ tuner and it sounds AMAZING. Check the reviews online and on youtube all McIntosh receivers got great reviews. It was never abused and spent its life in a custom ordered Salamander cabinet in a non-smoking, child free environment. I purchased it from the original owner who traded up to McIntosh separates after owning it for a few months. I have all the original McIntosh boxes, packing material, manuals, pamphlets, remote, antennas and installation tool. I went to a McIntosh tube preamp and it does have a different sound, but I can honestly say the dedicated tube preamp doesnt sound better or more resolving just different. Thats how good the 6700 is.
