Astonishing sound quality and one of the lower distortion out there! Lowest measured distortion in a digital to analog converter in the year 2019! It can be used as a pre amplifier too, selecting this function on the converter and using the remote to control the volume. The electronic volume control is very precise, with +/- 18 volume steps. I used it mostly just in Dac mode, but tried it also as a pre with ACCUPHASE and Audio Research power amplifier and it sound great also in that mode.
