The 29 was the sweetest sounding model in Levinsons lineup at the time. This amp is remarkable because it has the warm, bold and velvety sound of a pure Class-A amp, but (because its A/B) - its not that heavy, it doesnt consume as much power, and most importantly it doesnt run hot ! According to Stereophile review The No.29s low-level gain section consists of two bipolar, differential amplifiers biased into class-A. It has Balanced and Line (camac) inputs. If you are gonna use the single ended(camac) inputs you must get Camac to RCA adaptors or full cables and you must also jumper 2 pins included) on the XLR Balanced inputs.
