Es handelt sich um den sehr seltenen Oszilloskop-Tuner Model 120 mit perfekt leuchtendem Oszilloskop und volltändig erneuerter und auf LED umgestellten Beleuchtung. Europagerät (220V) mit interner Multi-Voltage-Funktion (100 / 120 / 200 / 220 / 240 Volt). Klang und Empfang dieses Klassikers sind über jeden Zweifel erhaben und erfüllen alle Erwartungen, die man an einen Marantz-Tuner stellt. Die Scope-Röhre befindet sich in sehr gutem, einwandfreien Zustand, mit voll erhaltener Leuchtkraft und ohne jede Einbrennung. Mit ihr lassen sich Audio-Signal, Empfangsstärke, Sendermittenabstimmung und Mehrwegeempfang (Multipath) für eine optimale Ausrichtung der Antenne sichtbar machen. Die bereitgestellten Fotos zeigen das Oszilloskop in seinen verschiedenen Anzeige-Modi. Verwenden kann man das Oszilloskop ebenfalls, um die Einstellung weiterer Audio-Geräte zu überprüfen. Diese können direkt mit dem Scope-Eingang des Tuners verbunden werden oder über den Anschluss an den Verstärker oder Vorverstärker am Audio-Eingang des Tuners getestet werden. Unschlagbar ist das Ostilloskop bei der Überprüfung der korrekten Justage eines Tonabnehmers am Tonarm Ihres Plattenspielers. Eine bessere Möglichkeit, Ihren Tonabnehmer ohne zusätzliches Profi-Meßequipement zu testen, gibt es nicht! Wie Sie an den unretuschierten Bildern erkennen können, befindet sich der Tuner in sehr gepflegtem Zustand mit nur minimalen Gebrauchspuren. Gegen Aufpreis können SIe ebenfalls das auf den Bildern gezeigte Woodcase erwerben. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein sehr selten zu bekommendes Original vom Typ WC-1, welches allein kaum unter 300 Euro zu bekommen ist. Am Woodcase befinden sich vereinzelte Gebrauchspuren, jedoch ist dieses sehr schön erhalten und ein absoluter Blickfang.Wegen der Gefahr eines Transportschadens würden Woodcase und Tuner im Falle eines gemeinsamen Kaufs in separaten Kartons versendet, wie dies übrigens in den 70er Jahren von Marantz ebenso gehandhabt wurde. This old Marantz tuner is in pretty good cosmetic condition for it?s age. The front panel has a few light scratches and will benefit from a detailed cleaning. The cabinet has some scuffs on one side but looks OK overall. It powers up and I can confirm that the CRT display is working.
