I am offering an extremely rare V44 tube studio power amplifier manufacured in the late 40s or very early 50s. I dont know manufacturer exactly, but its outlook shows it must be very early post war production for recording studio from Lorenz or VEB Berlin Studiotechnik. Germany at that time was divided and those companies were located in Eastern Germany. This is very early serial number which is 37 and I have never found or seen the second unit to pair my unit. V44 was legendary studio main monitoring amplifier in Germany till the half of the 50s when newer fully balanced Telefunken V69 amplifier was introduced. V44 is push pull class A 20-25 Watt output power amplifier based on two EL12 power tubes and two EF12k and one EZ12 rectifier tube. Output impendance is 4 ohm, possibly there is an other tap for 16 ohm in a speaker transformer, but I am not sure about that. The amplifier is coming in good optical and very good technical condition, producing full range 30-15kHz spectrum with very musical results you can get from greatest vintage amplifiers. It was overchecked, seviced by qualified engineer who draw back the schematic of this V44 version (there are a couple of V44 versions, the most known were built by renowned MAIHAK). 95% of the amplifier is still original , very few capacitors were replaced only. I am adding matching cables to plug to your own speaker. As the amp was built 70 years ago, it is being sold AS IS with no further warranty for collectors or wonderful tube sound enthusiast. ONE ultra-rare Maihak V53 amplifier serial # 121 German broadcasting complete, all original, with German branded OEM tubes, transformers all tested good. First manufactured in 1949, this amp has serial number 121, ie early production. Uses 2x EL11, 2x EZ12, EZ12 rect. No rust, just typical minor pitting on chassis, given the >70 years of age. All switches function as they should, Wiring original. Weighing 7kg net (before crating, boxing). 220 Volts 50/60Hz. This amplifier is being offered as used and sold as defect (as not used or set up before), as a historical unit its for the collector but should be great to use with a DIY power supply. The V53 came before the ingenious V69 from Telefunken. But pundits say that the V53 has more refined sound and is absolutely perfect mate for rather efficient loudspeakers. Es stammt wohl aus den frühen 60er Jahren.Beigefügt ist ein Originalschaltplan der Firma Maihak sowie eine Leerspule eine Spule mit Band und ein Mikrofonadapter groß-Tuchel auf Din. Eine Betriebsanleitung ist auch dabei. Die Köpfe incl. Pilotkopf sind optisch ok. Der Batteriekasten fehlt. Das Kabel für den Spannungsanschluß (Batterie 9V) führt aus dem Batteriekasten heraus (rot = plus / blau = minus). Das Federwerk läuft - getestet. Die Wiedergabe eines bespielten Bandes ist sehr leise über die Kopfhörerbuchsen zu hören. Einige Elelektrolyt Kondensatoren dürften wohl nach 60 Jahren zu erneuern sein. Wichtig!!!
