For sale is a super cool pair of vintage Magneplanar Magnepan SMG speakers. Almost 20 years now of working with audio gear and I have never had a pair of these come through the shop before so they must be fairly rare. 1 Speaker does have a good amount of rattle when bass hits at higher volume and the other sounds great, see video. I did not run them through an EQ or anything, could probably eliminate some of the rattle through an EQ or keeping Bass low at higher volumes. They are in really good physical condition, they do have what looks like wood stain dripping on the sides as you can see in the pictures, but thats it. Far far below average wear for speakers this age, no major dents or dings, fabric still really nice. These are worth sanding down to restain and perhaps even find the rattle on the one speaker and fix for a collector in my opinion. They did NOT have the stands with them, but they did still have the stand screws, so hopefully you can find some or have some made. I will use commercial grade bubble wrap and a heavy duty TV box to ship them so they get to you safely. These are 24 wide, stand 48.5 tall, and are 1.75 deep. Verkaufe ein Paar Lautsprecher Magnepan/Magneplanar 1.6 QR/SE mit Quasi-Ribbon Hochtöner in schwarz/Kirsche. Diese sind Erstbesitz und wurden 2005 erworben (Nachweis vorhanden). Betrieben in einem tier- und rauchfreiem Musikzimmer ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Mäßig und mit Augenmaß betrieben. 2012 wurden die Lautsprecher durch eine Fachwerkstatt überholt (Schwachstellen zusätzlich verstärkt/verklebt, z.B. Aufhängung etc.). Optisch fast wie neu (nur am Boden minimale Abnutzungserscheinungen s. Fotos). Keine Flecken, keine Risse, keine Verfärbungen in der Bespannung. Technisch 1A. Klang bestens ohne Macken. Komplett mit OVP und Zubehör wie Jumper (Singlewirebetrieb), Sicherungen, Ersatzsicherungen, Schrauben, Füße, Distanzscheiben, Originaldokumentation. Ich gehe davon aus, dass der Käufer mit den Besonderheiten von Flächenstrahlern und der damit einhergehenden Faszination vertraut ist. Trotz allem sind diese Lautsprecher relativ unkritisch in der Aufstellung! Und nun das BESTE: Beim Kauf zum Originalpreis gibt es die auf dem Foto gezeigten sehr seltenen Dämpfer (1 Paar) mit dazu! Diese werden einfach hinten in die Bespannung gesteckt und können in der Höhe etc. variiert werden, so dass diese in akustisch allzu hellen Räumen angepasst werden können.
