I have a vintage Sony SRF-5 Sports FM Walkman radio. Main color is yellow and it was made in Japan. It takes 2 triple A batteries to power it. I installed 2 new AAA batteries (Not included in this listing) and verified there is no rust or corrosion in the battery compartment. Once installed, I plugged in the included black Sony branded earbuds and was able to turn on this Sony FM stereo receiver and verified it works. Just want to mention, it ONLY does FM radio, no AM radio. I was able to browse to different radio stations and tune into a radio station and listen to music with no problems through the included earbuds. The tuning knob works as well as the volume knob. I believe this Sony Walkman originally came with an armband, but that is not included. This is a very small and compact Sony FM radio device. It measures 4 inches long, less than 2 inches wide and under an inch deep. So its pocket size. It has been used before and does have some wear and tear, including some scratches and markings. But its still in good working condition. It comes with a Lowe Pro branded case to store it in, as seen in the photos provided. A wonderful classic feature-laden DX-ing receiver. Excellent signal holding with its AM sync as well as great sideband audio for easy listening. Ive recapped the unit for greater reliability and had the cast aluminum outer cabinet powder coated for durability. Original operators manual is included. Battery trays are clean. Rechargeable batteries are included for portable use or you can provide 12vdc for desktop listening. As is common with the HF-150, there is slight crazing in the plexiglass dial window. See photos
