Tannoy Little Red Monitors In Excellent Cosmetic condition. A beautiful pair of LRM’s The covers are original with original badges , all the rest of the components are original with no tampering. There are a few very small, (extremely minor in my opinion) scratches and slight fades in the veneer. Please take a look at the photos to decide for yourself the condition. No studio mounting holes, wax fills in the veneer, bad glue job on the cones etc Sonically, These speakers sound as they should. They were recapped a few years ago and have been serviced and made to perform within the manufacturer’s specification. They come from a non smoking home and have been handled and used with care and respect. These speakers are in very good condition if you look closley at the photographes you will see apart from small scratches and the faint imprint of Birmingham Polytechnicon the top there are no major pieces of veneer missing or splits at the joints, the bottoms are the most marked. The one speaker was reconed by Tannoy and you can see the glue on the face. One of the terminals is broken on the back the negative HF this does not affect the performance as they are not fitted with what ever it was that allowed them to be bi-amped I think that was on optional extra at the time. I havnt attempted to repair /remove scratches that is up to you but Im sure they would look fantastic if done properly.Please message me if you have any questions.
