LG 19LG3000 TV. Old TV but works as intended 2 x HDMI Scart AV Optical

This is a repair service of your Flash ic U404 on LG 19LG3000 22LG3000 26LG3000 TVs Please read the listing details carefully as you will need to remove the flash ic U404 pictured in the listing details and send it to me so that it can be correctly reprogramed for your model of LG TV. It will then be returned to you reprogrammed with the correct data. Please ensure that you advise me of which model of the three listed that you wish it to be programmed up for as they are all different data for the flash ics.These models suffer from unresponsive buttons from the remote control and the side control buttons as well. Also tuning issues where only some of the Freeview channels are missing from the TV channels. I have had a few of these come in recently with these issues. You will need to remove the flash ic U404 from your main board 715T3009-2 and send it to me preferably using a tracked service. The flash ic will be returned to you reprogrammed with the correct data either the same day or the following day it is received using a tracked service that you prefer. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME THE WHOLE MAIN BOARD AS THIS SERVICE IS ONLY FOR REPROGRAMMING THE FLASH IC U404 FOR THE CORRECT DATA FOR YOUR MODEL! If you are unsure as to whether your issues will be resolved then I advise you to contact me with your symptoms of your TV so that I can advise you as to the suitability of the reprogram of your flash ic for resolving your issues with your TV. If you have the 26LG3000 model and you have white screen issues or general screen issues this will not resolve your issues as the screen used in this model have a high screen failure. If you have never removed a 16pin smd sop16 integrated circuit before using a soldering iron then I advise you to purchase some chip quik low melting solder ( which melts at around 60 Centigrade) which stays molten for a long duration making the task of removing the smd ic very easy. As there are a few smd components surrounding the ic I advise you to mask off the surrounding components with foil or Kapton tape to prevent any damage particularly if you are using a hot air station to remove it.I can list a small length of chip quik low melting solder if you require. The last image shows a chip being reprogrammed in the programmer I use for this particular motherboard, it is just there to illustrate that an adapter is used to programme this flash ic. Only 8pins need to be re-soldered on the flash ic when it is returned, pins 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15 and 16. As these are the only ones that are used the rest of the pins are redundant. Soldering skills are required to remove the spi flash from the PCB without causing damage to any of the surface mount components and to solder thesupplied SPI Flash IC. My address for sending the flash ic will be given to you after the purchase has been made. I suggest you use a tracked service of some description to send out the flash ic to me. Please ensure when fitting the ic that the correct orientation of the IC so that the very small dimple is at pin 1 (ask if you are unsure as to the correct way round the ic should be fitted).
