Fully refurbished in our own workshop a stunning Goldring Lenco G99 built into an extremely solid oak carcass and fitted with an Origin Live Alliance tone arm and a brand new phono cartridge.This deck both looks and sounds stunning and in our opinion will give a Garrard 301 a very good run for its money. Dozens of hours have been spent on this refurbishment and we are extremely pleased with the finished product and are confident the buyer will be seriously impressed with both the looks and sound quality of this turntable!! Just take a look at the online reviews of the G99, some owners would not swap theirs for any other turntable. Briefly, the refurbishment included: Motor fully stripped re-lubricated and set up.Fully rewired and properly earthed.Fitted with an Origin Live Alliance tone arm and a new AT3600L mm phono cartridgeCeramic ball bearing, PTFE thrust pad and bearing clamp fitted. The clamp provides an oil tight seal and improves stability. The ceramic bearing and PTF pad reduce the noise floor significantly.3 mm stainless reinforcement plate fitted to the top of the bearing. The standard top plate is approximately 3.5 mm thick increasing to 6.5mm thick around the bearing with the additional plate fitted significantly improving rigidity.IEC fitted to allow the choice of power cable to be used.15mm base board fitted with 4 quality isolation supports each with three ball bearings.
