Amazing 80s Japanese Receiver with phono stageTested. Very nice physical and working condition. The R-461 uses potentiometers rather than slider like it’s brethren. Kyoceras’ THING? They used high quality electronic components in their build. Like the ones we would pay top dollar to have installed in your rig today as an upgrade. My take away from this unit?Clean. Open. Decent amount of air. Great sound stage. But it’s all about attack. The initial sound of stick hitting drum. It’s there in spades. 55 watts per channel more like 70.
