JVC HR-D725EB HIFI stereo video cassette recorder Relisted as “For parts or not working” to avoid all and any doubt as I don’t want any returns. From FIRST OWNER (I bought it new in 1985) NOTE: All commands work (see video) but it occasionally gets stuck whilst loading a tape. Hence listed For parts or not working. The VCR has been serviced only once since 1985, and WILL NEED A NEW BELT AND LUBRICATION. See attached video link on this procedure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6zLlh4WuIc It is in a good condition for its age, has a few minor scratches as can be expected but still looks very attractive and presentable.  Another issue is that the left hand catch of the slat covering the bottom row of buttons has split. The slat closes properly but the left hand side doesn't stay connected to the hinge upon opening (see red circle in last picture). Following a question I received on the VU INDICATOR LED LIGHTS working: Yes, they are all working. I made a new video of the VCR loading the tape and the VU indicator led lights working (into the red). It comes with: - Remote Control (it's the original remote, works fine (pictured)) - SCART cable (pictured) - a EUROPEAN POWER PLUG ON POSTAGE:  This item weighs over 20 pounds AND is FRAGILE...  Rough handling during shipment may very well cause permanent damage. As such I prefer collection at my home address (London NW3 5QG) which is FREE! But if you want it shipped I'll wrap and package as best as I can and ship insured and within the UK with Royal Mail Signed For. I have to charge for packaging, Royal Mail costs, my own time AND the fees eBay and PayPal take off me for all these. As such I have to charge the buyer £30 for shipping, sorry. But again, collection from NW3 is FREE.
