This is a pair of the famed T65 cast frame JBL Automotive series 6.5 inch speakers. The person I got them from said they have never been used due to the tweeters being a tiny bit loose on the mounting poles. They swivel, but the are not loose. Anyway, they are in fantastic condition seeing they were popular back in the late 80s before the decade speakers. I havent seen any of these ever, other than these, so I know they are either really rare or not many were made. They use the famous jbl Titanium tweeter. There is a slight imperfection in the foam surround, but that doesnt effect anything. One of the tweeter cones look a little rippled to me, but im not 100 percent sure. You be the judge. Its the other speaker than the one with the foam imperfection. They are LOUD ! Must be very sensitive. The tweeter is loud too, but it sure does zip and twinkle. Cosmetically Ive spelled out a couple of things, and apart from the loose tweeters (you could pull the stickers and tighten them if you felt it an issue) other than that they work exactly as they should. Back when JBL was known for concert level audio, and I can see why ! ... whew. Dont miss out if you like these, because they wont last long. Happy bidding.
