Genauigkeit und Auflösungsvermögen sind die Merkmale des neuen Harbeth M30.1 Monitor Lautsprechers. Besonders der für die Musik- und Sprachverständlichkeit so wichtige Mittelton-Bereich erreicht mit der M30.1 eine frappierende Natürlichkeit und Klarheit. Die M30.1 ist der perfekte Lautsprecher für kleine und mittel große Räume und Verstärker ab einer Leistung mit 50W pro Kanal. Die M30.1 provoziert durch ihr hohes Auflösungsvermögen den Betrieb an den besten HiFi Komponenten. Auch wenn dieser Lautsprecher wie alle Harbeth Lautsprecher für den Endverstärker keine schwierige Last darstellt und bereits mit 50W eine ausreichende Spielfreude entfaltet, sollten die davor geschalteten Komponenten das Musiksignal möglichst unversehrt und mit guter Dynamik an den M30.1 Lautsprecher weiterleiten, denn bei allem Auflösungsvermögen denkt sich dieser Lautsprecher nichts aus. Interessant ist die Synergie zum Creek Evolution 50A Verstärker, der mit seinem dynamischen und vollem Klangcharakter in Räumen bis 20qm schon erstaunlich gut zu den M30.1 Lautsprechern passt. Bei der Croft Elektronik darf man hier eher schon die regulated Vorverstärker einsetzen (die M30.1 reicht das damit zu erzielende Plus in Sachen Dynamik und music insight ganz herrlich weiter) und von den Magnum Dynalab Verstärkern geht jedes Modell – je größer um so besser. Auf den Norddeutschen HiFi Tagen habe ich mit der M30.1 bereits spektakuläre Vorführungen sowohl mit dem kleinen Creek Evolution 50A als auch mit dem grossen Magnum Dynalab MD-309 erlebt. Zur Zeit begeistert mich der M30.1 Monitor mit dem Croft Micro 25R (!) Vorverstärker und der Croft Series 7 Endstufe durch unglaubliche Feindynamik und eine Klangqualität, die immer wieder auf’s Neue begeistert. Dieses System macht es mir gerade schwer, Schallplatten auszusortieren, weil fast alles gut klingt und mit seiner Durchhörbarkeit bei fast jeder Schallplatte die Musik auf interessante und spannende Art in mein 20qm grosses Arbeitszimmer projiziert wird (StarterPro Plattenspieler mit Wand Master Tonarm, Nagaoka MP-500 MM Tonabnehmer und Croft RIAAR Phonovorverstärker). Beautiful pair of Harbeth M30.1 monitors in Eucalyptus finish with height-appropriate Skylan stands. Ive owned these since 2015, and they have been a wonderful sonic pairing with my Vinnie Rossi LIO DHT integrated. Ive since moved into a smaller home and am listening 100 percent with my HiFiMAN HE1000 V2 headphones, so have decided to give someone else an opportunity to own these special speakers.The speakers are in great cosmetic condition and produce the same signature Harbeth sound as when new. One thing to note is that the right speaker has an interesting grain pattern that shows a contrast at certain angles at the right rear side, but disappears when viewed at other angles. I included pictures from multiple angles, so you can see what Im describing, but feel free to reach out if you have questions about this or any other aspects of the speakers.Both speakers will be shipped in their original Harbeth boxes and double-boxed for protection. The Skylan stands break down nicely and will be inserted and protected within the two boxes. I will ship the speakers and stands via UPS Ground or FedEx Home within the USA for a flat rate of $100.

I have a feeling that those folk who view this item know exactly what these speakers are. However, for those new to Harbeth, I will provide a little background. The Harbeth philosophy has its roots in the BBC and their desire to produce monitors that would accurately represent the sound, so engineers could be sure the broadcast was consistent from one venue to another. A great place to start as the BBC is the acknowledged gold standard when it comes to audio. These speakers derive from one of the many famous designs from the BBC used in studio monitoring, however, they have been adapted more for home use. This include improvements to drive units, for which Harbeth is very proud, and also to the crossovers to enable them to be driven more easily by home audio gear. These speakers are the medium sized offering, which will work in a wide range of rooms to produce a detailed, dynamic yet smooth sound. Used on the end of first class source and amplification, they are capable of truly extraordinary performance. Alan Shaw of Harbeth, unlike some designers, is not in the habit of changing direction on design every 2 years. Each new version represents a small incremental update on a very successful, settled design. The new version of this speaker has near identical specifications and a sound signature that is nigh on identical. The latest version, is however, over £4,500. What to say of this pair. Simply put, they are mint. New in September 2020 with little use since then, the Eucalyptus real wood veneer is beautiful and unmarked. Please see the photos. They are boxed in the original packaging and you can collect them or arrange your own courier. I will not ship them as I do not want to take the risk of damage and have to deal with the pain of claims from couriers.
