This is an important part of the Main Turntable bearing This part is used in most Garrard turntables from 1950- 1960, Lab 80 & Mk II Type A A70 RC 88 98 121 210 This is the washer that sits loosely on the main platter shaft. It is the upper race of the main thrust bearing. Often it gets lost, when the bearing is disassembled. Without this washer, the turntable will not ride on the bearing balls but slide metal on metal. The actual washer is shown in pictures 2 and 3. For illustration I am showing the main shaft and the bearing assembly.
