Garrard 301 Turntable - SME 3009 S2 improved arm and Shure V15 iii cart FULLY RESTORED. This is absolutely immaculate and is ready for another 60 years service. The turntable was originally built in April 1964. I will ship fully insured but I would prefer collection so you can satisfy yourself and buy with confidence. Although the details state shipping insurance is set at £500, I will pay extra to have it insured for the full purchase price. As plinths are very personal this is a basic design using a solid oak top and frame, biscuit used on all four mitres and 4 semi hemisphere sorbothane supports. Linn Sondek style feet. SME 3009 series iii Tonearm. Comes with cables but no cartridge. Selling on behalf of my elderly neighbour who was a classical enthusiast and bought this new so is a one owner example. This came off a working Thorens table which has now been sold. Its in fantastic condition and will be well packaged or can be picked up from Kingston upon Thames KT1. I will be listing an early version 3009 unimproved along with some quad amps and various head shells, cartridges classical records and a Garrard 401 that also belonged to my neighbour.
