Good for DJ reference headphones, studio monitoring, or just for casual listening. *They are exactly how I received them when they were brand new*Has a 6.35mm jack but I will include an optional adapter for 6.35 to 3.5 free of charge. No external amplifier is required, but can get the most out of them if using one. I got these because I heard they had bass that would make your eardrums tickle, which isnt the case (or at least none of my amps made them do that) but the overall sound and feeling of them on your head is amazing, can barely tell youre wearing headphones and the sound can almost seem like you are hearing music live, not sure how they did that, but definitely an amazing pair of headphones for someone who enjoys music and also for people who need top quality sound for their career. They havent lost any value or quality from use because I only used them a couple times before I realized they werent going to give me the potentially overwhelming and powerful bass I had anticipated and read online, but I dont have the setup of those people. The only reason I am selling them for such a good deal is because I realize the outer box aesthetics are important, and the coating on the left earpad looks a little oxidized or an issue from the factory, but it didnt change the feel and is hardly noticeable, as well as a newer pair is out, but if you dont care about the very outside box with the art on it or hardly noticeable cracks in one of the earpads paint and you want these headphones, then the hardware is virtually untouched.
