This Emerson Wondergram portable record player is from the late 1950s! It is in working condition and has not been modified, its all original and includes the original case. This is a popular model to restore because it is easy to work with and there are several YouTube videos about it. This record player uses 4 C size batteries (not included) for power. The sound is good. The motor spins both 33 & 45 RPM records, but the speed needs adjusted. There is no record platter, it spins the records by rollers and sometimes the rollers must be started by spinning the record a bit after you put it on. There is a spot on the bottom of the case that looks like it melted a bit from being placed on a hot surface, and the button that holds the case closed needs cleaned, please see the pictures. There are two cracks, also. None of these affect the normal operation. This is a unique little record player, just waiting for your restoration! The Abba SOS 45 rpm record is not included. Emerson Wondergram 1950s Portable Record Player, working/restore. Working condition player but will need fine tuning. Disc turns, low sound. Stylus good but low sound may be improved by cartridge exchange or capacitor replacement on board. Not a lot to work on with these- if you know them, then an easy fix. Does not have the jukebox single adapter or mount but not required for normal use. This model is under the Baird Camp Bird badge in the strong gold finish. Odd screws look like they have been opened. All three leg pads are present although two show signs of ageing. Case bottom good with minimal marks and scuffs. Battery case is rot free.
