I hate to say like new, but check the pictures in the listing. I probably used this cartridge for 10 to 20 hours at most. All original packaging and contents included. The box, case, brush, extra counterweight, instructions, and cartridge holder/tool is included. I bought this new from Japan several years back. I have taken the plunge into an MC cartridge with additional preamp etc....so I dont have a need for this one. This is a smooth operating cartridge with high output MC so no special transformer is needed. I will say its a touch quieter than say an Ortofon 2m but is it forgiving and very detailed.

This cartridge has a frequency range of 20 Hz to 45 kHz, making it useful for a variety of different phonograph machines. It also puts out a steady 1.6 mV. This cartridge is used but comes with original packaging, including instructions and receipt from 1984!

SONY PS-X555ES Biotracer Linear tracking Turntable with denon DL-110 H/O MC See pictures for the exact cosmetic condition of the recordplayer. The only recordplayer ever with the ES label and one of the best turntables sony ever made. With the original headshell. The front corners are slightly damaged (see pictures). This damage is purely cosmetic. The included cartridge is a denon dl-110 high output mc cartridge which on its own is already hard to find. I do not know the condition of this cartridge but it does sound great. The dustcover had some scratching. The hinges are developing some cracks on the underside (as is standard with both the ps-x555 and ps-x800). While currently not a large issue it would be advised to treat the hinges so they can last a little while longer. The light size sensor is still working. All other functions are also tested and fully functional.
