I am the original owner. They have been used with McIntosh electronics. They are from a non-smoker house. They sound wonderful for bookshelf speakers. They have the distinctive silky-smooth early Sonus Faber somewhat warm and precise sound. Personally, I love these speakers for jazz, but I also listen to classical and rock music with them. The speakers themselves are in outstanding cosmetic condition. These speakers were personally designed by the late Franco Serblin. Beautiful speakers with distinct sound qualities. The wood cabinets and the drivers are in near- perfect condition. They are on stands. One of the stands is missing the little round piece that screws onto a bolt on the base near the floor. Not sure what happened to that. Otherwise, the stands are in near-perfect condition. The grills for these speakers are designed with strings that came loose over time and need to be re-strung. I dont think it was a good design idea, but that is how SF made these speakers. SF will restring them if it is important to you. I dont even use the grills, but I have them. UPS quotes the following costs: Domestic Shipping, Packaging and Insurance: $400 each. These are the lowest quotes I have been able to find. The speakers will be professionally packaged.

On offer here is the original Sonus Faber Cremona Center Channel speaker complete with its original grille and OEM boxing. Condition is excellent to my hyper-critical eye. No marks, no dings, no issues with drivers or surrounds. I have not found another one in anywhere near this condition in years of watching this site. You will not be disappointed. Speaker ships at cost to the new owner in the original Sonus Faber boxing. Local pickup is also available in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area. This fine pair of one owner Sonus Faber speakers just came out of a fine Newport RI estate and had been used with a McIntosh amplifier. Very good lightly used condition. Comes with original paperwork and covers. Appear to have been purchased around 2005. Local pick up preferred but will help arrange freight service. List price for these speakers was $7500.
