CASTLE Richmond 3 Speakers - matched pair by serial numberFantastic sound. Perfect working order from non smoking home and a beautiful yew veneer finish80W / 88dBDimensions: 28cm x 20cm x 16.5cm / 11 x 8 x 6.5 These beautiful little speakers have done their duty admirably as rears in my 5.1 system, prior to finally upgrading to PMC during lockdown. I have re-tested and they are in excellent working order. Owned by me from new, and originally bought (with others) from Rogers Hi-Fi in Cobham, they have moved very little from their original mounting position on Linn Brakits in our non-smoking home.Youll notice the screws in the back, which were to fasten them to the Brakits used for wall mounting (which I may dust off and add to this listing if there is interest). These were positioned specifically to not touch or damage any internals of the cabinet nor affect the sound. My installer also removed the Castle logos which were oriented incorrectly for the landscape mounting that worked in our living room and would have sat just under the grills.There are minor cosmetic scratches in the base from isolation spikes (not visible when stand mounted / shelved) but the yew wood finish is made to look slightly worn and aged and looks amazing. Only significant issue I can call out is that the unexposed wood under the grills remains the original light yew colour whilst the rest of the speakers veneer has darkened with time - clearly shown in the pictures. This is not visible at all with the grills in place and therefore has never been a problem for me.I would prefer collection from Purley / South Croydon area (I can demo), but will check the loft for the original box if delivery is requested (and will arrange appropriate packaging / wrapping if that box is not available).
