WELCOME TO AMP KING AUCTIONS Cambridge Audio CD6 This CD player is literally a transport and DAC in one! Thats why it sounds so good. Bit of a no brainer really. Im very experienced with this old Cambridge gear so expect quality work! So I upgraded the hell out of it, all schottky diodes, high end caps across every board. High end OS-CONS / Polystyrene on DAC board digital section, all around the clock sections etc The main smoothing caps are high end Pansonic FM series. Lots of bypassing underneath the boards. 99% of ceramics removed from all boards! Ive added ferrite cores to internal cabling. This beast comes with 3 transformers as standard. I added some anti-vibration padding to the chassis too. Finally the output opamps are Sparkos discrete V6. Massively upgraded and all adjusted with original remote. Bespoke/best in the world! See my other items I offer 1 month free repair on all my items even though they are thoroughly tested before shipping for peace of mind. I dont like unhappy customers!
