The bass goes deeper than you might think. The tweeters are the carbon version of the diamond tweeters used on all the higher end B&W speakers. These were purchased as OPEN BOX from Best Buys Magnolia store and were never personally used. They were mainly used when demoed in Best Buys Magnolia sound room. Since they were in a room with superior sounding speakers its possible they didnt get much use. The top of the speakers have a little bit of wear other than that they looked brand new.
