At the time of their launch, these were easily the most advanced Electro-Dynamic Headphones, providing impressive resolution, speed, separation and transparency, rivalling the best Electrostatics from Stax, all the while achieving the feat of remaining full bodied, musically adept and enjoyable. Regardless of its age, it remains a truly top-end performer, and I am only selling this because I own several pairs of it! It is in Excellent, clean Cosmetic condition and it is technically fully functional. Fitted with Original, Brand New Ear Pads. New pads can still be had from Beyerdynamic at very reasonable cost. With a 600 Ohm impedance, these will give their best with a Good, powerful Desktop Amp, as they require a generous Voltage swing and good Current capability. Zum Verkauf steht ein teildefekter vintage Dt880S Kopfhörer. Es gibt eine Kanalungleichheit im Frequenzspektrum, nicht aber in der Lautstärke. Die Ungleichheit war zu Beginn ebenfalls in der Lautstärke vorzufinden, diese wurde behoben. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass einer der beiden Treiber einen Fehler hat. Dies hatte ich zu spät gemerkt und dem Kopfhörer schon ein brandneues Kabel, sowie Kopfband verpasst, was nun etwas überflüssig ist. An sich funktioniert der Kopfhörer durchaus, bei Musik fällt es zumindest weniger auf, als bei Sprache. Vielleicht kann doch jemand etwas damit anfangen, wenn auch als Ersatzteil. Es ist die 600 ohm version. -------------- For sale is a partically defective Beyerdynamic Dt880S vintage headphone. Is has a channel imbalance in the frequency response. It also had a volume imbalance, which I managed to fix, but I am still very sure one of the drivers is partially defective. I noticed that too late and already gave the headphone a brand new cable, aswell as headband, which is now kinda wasted. The headphone does basically work tho. Maybe its interesting as spare parts. Its a 600 ohms version.
