This is an extremely temperamental CD player. itll work and then it wont. I dont have the time to fiddle with it. At the moment, it works. I am selling it as is, but just know its temperamental. The disc tray always works, but it wont always play a CD. Again, as Im writing this, It works! Ive used it as a transport with an external DAC and its fine. Its done the rca out (my amp doesnt do xlr ) and it sounds great. It sounds fine and I dont have the means to check the condition of the tubes. Upon listening, it didnt sound as if they were bad. I tested it with some older and newer CDs and they played, but a few days later, it wont play at all. I AM NOT WARRANTING THIS CD PLAYER. NO ORIGINAL BOX NO REMOTE ITS SOLD AS IS AND FOR PARTS.
