Raytheon JRP-5654. Also known as 6AK5W. RF amplifier pentode. It is also suitable for audio use as a direct plug in replacement for the 6J1 valve and gives far superior performance when used for this. Will be carefully protected and packed for delivery.

AUDIO RESEARCH SP8 VALVE PREAMPLIFIER This does power up but it emit’s a buzz through the speakers on both channels. I’m pretty sure the valve’s are in the wrong place as they don’t heat up. Also the chassis shorting pin is missing this won’t help with the buzzing. This did work a long time ago but has sat in storage for years now. Also the top lid is missing I have looked but can’t find it unfortunately. It’s in decent condition apart from what looks like glue on the front panel. Please see pictures for condition.
