This 8-inch high-fidelity loudspeaker is ideal for making 2-way speakers, with for example an Audax TW025A20Mg tweeter or a SEAS T25CF002 above. The HD-A (High Definition Airgel) cone is a real technological breakthrough in this field, surpassing the materials known to date. Through an extraordinary combination of a new material and an original process, Audax has created a composite cone, an innovation whose properties are close to ideal for a direct radiation transducer. Ultra light, extremely rigid and perfectly damped, this uncompromising cone is made of a controlled matrix of acrylic polymer gel enveloping ideally ordered Carbon and Kevlar fibres.
