As well as providing an easier load for your amplifiers the cards add a level of precision to your music and allow you to fine tune the sound to your room. These cards fit all Linn Akurate and Majik amplifiers. No soldering is required to fit. They use push fit connectors and are each secured by two screws. We will provide detailed fitting instructions should you need them. Your speakers also need to be converted from passive to aktiv configuration and we will again supply details of how to do this if you need them. There are two pairs of cards – tweeter and mid-bass. Linn Bass modules for Linn Chakra/Akurate amplifiers. These are suitable for Linn Sekrit, Katan and Tukan 2-way passive speakers. A pair of Linn Treble modules will be required to Aktivly drive a pair of speakers as will a Linn amplifier (or two) to provide 4 channels (e.g. Linn 4100, 4200 or 2 2100s would suffice). Put another way, you require one module and one channel of amplification per speaker driver. The modules are very much like a computer pcie cards. They are absolutely plug and play and easily installed. Instructions are included.
