The main features of the Aiwa AD-F450 are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport.Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the left side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.Level meters used on the AD-F450 are generic digital peak reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the AD-F450 let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection.Dolby C-type used in the AD-F450 provides 20 dB of noise reduction above about 1,000 Hz, fully doubling the amount given by B-type. Aiwa Cassette Deck AD-F450. I dont know if it works I dont have a tape to play it it was a cracking little system when I used to use it its actually being in the attic for the last 20 years Ive just got it out tonight plugged it in it all lights up but as I say I dont know if it works properly It looks in good condition still unless I say its just being in the attic doing nothing gathering dust
