I found this at an estate sale. Generally, they were used very little. They spent most of their lives hidden in this box in the attic of this old house. They look great and sound amazing. They are very heavy. They are built to order.They say you only get one chance for a first impression and Acoustic Energy made a fine one as I pulled the first speaker out of its box. The cabinets are impressively heavy at aprox 18 -20 pounds, and my pair was finished in an extremely attractive cherry veneer -- completely unexpected at this price point, where vinyl laminate is the norm. In addition to its fine fascia, the cabinet itself seems to be solid and well braced. In fact, there is a brace that runs the entire circumference of the interior. The front is covered with a simple black grille cloth, behind which is a fully veneered face. The two-way AE 300 includes a single 6.5 metal-alloy woofer and a 1 tweeter that boasts a neodymium magnet and ferrofluid cooling. Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO 3 Speakers. In beautiful virtually mint condition, ash finish. Lovely sound, great bass and a warmth combined with detail. These floorstanders are impressive and only being sold as I have no space for them any longer (wife wouldnt let me wire up four huge speakers in the room!) Collection only due to weight, although if you are within a reasonable distance I would be heppy to maybe deliver (for mileage) or meet you somewhere half way. ACOUSTIC ENERGY 100 SERIES MODEL AE101 LOUDSPEAKERS Set of 3, in the Box. Never used. These are quality Loudspeakers and are in perfect condition & full working order. 100W rated @ 8 ohms. Only taken back out of the box for this photoshoot and connected to my Amp for testing purposes. Was purchased for an AV Setup as a 5 Speaker system many years ago but in the end decided to stick with 2 Speaker Stereo and hence left these 3 in the Box unused. The pair I did use have been sold off years ago with the Amp I was using. Please note that a set of wall hanging brackets are also included. 2 of the Speakers where originally to have the brackets and have tiny indents ready to fit the brackets but in the end decided against it and put the Speakers back in the box and stored in the attic. The box is a little dusty outside but inside is clean as is the packaging. Use as a pair for a standard Stereo Hifi System and keep the other one as a spare ! See last photo for full specs. Shown in photographs These stand approx 93cm tall with their feet studs attached and each speaker weighs 19 kg.They do not come with any wires.From a smoke-free home. Id advise collecting them in person from PE6, someone is at home most days and can show them working, although I am prepared to post them within the UK only, but the cheapest option (Parcelforce) will cost £22.
