UNIT IS IN USED CONDITION SOLD AS SPARES / REPAIRS DUE TO FAULTS DETECTED DURING TESTING. THE UNIT POWERS ON. (PLASTIC BUTTON CAP IS MISSING BUT THE BUTTON CLICKS IN AND WORKS FINE). ONE SIDE IS WORKING PERFECTLY AND SOUNDS FINE. THE OTHER SIDE IS AT MAX VOLUME EVEN WHEN THE VOLUME IS AT MINIMUM. THE VOLUME CONTROL DOES NOT ALTER THE SOUND MUCH SO SOME INTERNAL PREAMP ISSUE PERHAPS. NICE AMP WORTHY OF RESTORATION. IT IS SUGGESTED THAT QUAD ENGINEERS HAD INPUT ON THE DESIGN OF THIS AMP AS THE COMPANIES WERE ACQUIRED AT SIMILAR TIMES. A COUPLE OF CASE SCREWS ARE MISSING.
