For Sale ,a Tweeter and 2) Grill Badges for KEF 104mk2 Loudspeakers, all in good ,used condition.The tweeter is a T33, SP1191, 4 Ohms, this model has no faceplate when fitted to the 104 mk2 speaker.Care is needed when unpacking to assure the diaphragm does not break away from the magnet structure as this may damage the assembly beyond repair. The tweeter at present is in its original fixed position and works fine. Tweeter dimensions are 70mm diameter and overall depth of 25mm.The metal badges are in great condition.All will be well packed on despatch.

Very impressive sounding and looking vintage speakers. Foams have been replaced 2 years ago by previous owner. Only selling due to upgrade and lack of space. These are highly regarded even now and have a very powerful sound that is very balanced. There are the expected age marks for their age, as can be seen in the pics, but soundwise they sound brilliant. Original grills, but a bit discoloured. Please study the pictures for more specific marks etc. No original boxes. Happy to demo. Pick up from Hove. Raymond Cooke special edition Kef reference r104/2 speakers. Due to a house move i sadly do not have enough space for these any more.These are fantastic speakers in excellent condition. Matching serial numbers L and R.The centres of the woofers (doughnuts) were done by Wembley Loudspeakers before I bought them and do not need doing again,and these later versions have rubber instead of foam surrounds which do not disintegrate.I replaced the capacitors in the crossovers with a matched set of Alcaps bought from Falcon Accoustics.I also replaced the ferrofluid in the tweeters.They are AWESOME! They ROCK!Quiet or loud they sound clean and clear,.you will hear details in your music that you never heard before.. Ive had a roomfull of people dancing to these on several occasions- they will go VERY LOUD INDEED without distortion or earache,i guess if you are looking at these you will know how legendary they are.Zoom in on the photo of the brass plaque for more info.Absolutely MEGA speakers! Ive loved them for a few years now and will be sad to see them go. Stunning veneer too if you like that sort of thing, not your usual rosewood or walnut.They arent mint but they arent far off.The dust covers are a little scruffy. and thats about the worst of it. I also Have the correct Kube in working order, shown in the last photo.It works perfectly.ive plugged it in and spent a few hours listening.i remember upgrading a couple of capacitors in it to nichicon gold ones a while back I spent a lot more tha the initial bid here and have never regretted a penny of it.you will not be disappointed.. Speaker Cabinets 1970s Rogers Transmission Line - TL7 Pro speakers with Xovers Measures (each cab) 98.5cm high, 34.5cm wide, 44.3cm deep_______________________________________________________________ note: Previous ebay buyer was unable to collect the speakers after bidding, thereafter I have another private buyer wanting to arrange pick up at the BIN price - so this listing may be removed at anytime. These cabinets are quite unique - one of Chris Rogers early 1970s TL designs built with Kef drivers and coles supertweeter - Rogers designed other TL designs but then began using other driver units and thereafter did not focus on TLs due to high production costs. Had these running a few years ago and sounded amazing - however drivers were removed to refurbish a pair of Linn speakers - inherited from a family member who was a sound engineer. Fully intended to keep these to upgrade wiring etc but having to downsize property hence sale. Once fully complete and with a bit of TLC - the new owner will have a extremely rare pair of Rogers TLs and a super sounding pair of speakers! The crossovers are present and both super tweeters work fine - see pics. Requires SP1044, B110, T27s to complete. Cabinets are built like tanks, overengineered - always dry stored - and weigh in at around 40kgs each unloaded.
